• Manufactured in die cast metal alloy the newel cap is a sturdy and well made product, and will provide years of maintenance free service. 
• Newel connectors are designed for situations where the customer would like a new newel post but the existing post cannot be completely removed, for example the newel on the winders of a stairs.  In this situation the existing newel is cut down to form a base for a new newel section placed on top.  The Solution newel connector provides a neat way to join the two and is styled to match the newel cap for a pleasing finish.
